Before becoming a mother, I spent over 15 years working in conservation and environmental education. I enjoyed connecting with people, understanding their needs, and supporting positive change within communities. Looking back, I realise that what I loved most was helping people gain the knowledge and confidence they needed to make informed decisions.
Motherhood changed everything. While caring for my newborn, I faced breastfeeding challenges, uncertainty, and many questions I never expected. I spent hours searching online for answers, but I still couldn’t find the support I truly needed.
Driven by a desire to better support mothers and babies, I travelled to Kuala Lumpur to pursue formal training in breastfeeding support and infant care after realising that many mothers in Sabah often do not know where to turn for professional help when they need it most.
Wanting to better understand my baby's needs, I first trained as a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. Through this journey, I learned how touch, bonding, and communication play an important role in a baby's development and wellbeing.
I then continued my professional training in lactation counselling, which deepened my understanding of breastfeeding challenges and gave me greater confidence in supporting and guiding mothers on their breastfeeding journey.
Today, I support families in Sabah through breastfeeding education, infant massage and practical guidance to help parents feel more confident in their journey. Just what every parents need - the 1-to-1 guidance - confident builder
